N.O.S. consists of three members Kasinova Tha don, Leon-Akil, and FMIII. Originally from Newark New Jersey, Kasinova Tha Don is known for his remarkable resemblance in style and rhyme delivery as the late Tupac Shakur while maintaining his own unique sense of self and lyrical ability. Leon-Akil hailing from the city of brotherly love has been dubbed “The King of PA” by fans and followers of the N.O.S. movement. Last but not least FMIII who was born and raised in Newark New Jersey has been for the last ten years considered one of New Jersey’s best rappers to date. 

N.O.S. started as a group called The Establishment in partnership with Knucklebuss Productions. The group at first only consisted of FMIII and Leon-Akil who released two albums titled New World Order and Novos Ordo Seclorum. Through mutual friends both Leon-Akil and FMIII learned of Kasinova Tha Don in June of 2011. Once these three were able to have a conversation and get an understanding of what their goals were in the entertainment industry they quickly teamed up together creating the group that we know today as N.O.S. and began recording an album together. When asked why they chose the name Novos Ordos Seclorum for the album name the response has been “because it’s on the back of the dollar bill and we chasing that paper baby”. 

These three members pride themselves as not only being rappers but also business men which quickly gained them the respect of top A&R for Sony BMG James Brown A.K.A. JB. The widespread attention has been the talk of the music industry as of lately mainly due to the content of the lyrics and the chemistry that can be heard with these three in their music. This is music for grown-ups as stated by Leon-Akil, and will eventually take the hip hop industry in a whole different direction. N.O.S. is not simply a rap group but also consists of a team with each of the members having its own functions and capabilities that bring it all together as one with FMIII being the head of the organization. They pride themselves in actually reaching out to their fans and developing personal relationships with them. N.O.S. is the future of hip hop and fans are not simply fans but a part of the movement. You don’t have to be a group member to join and be a part of N.O.S.
