No Longer Bandits are four friends from the slums of Marlow and surrounding shanties. They first met each other as eleven year old ragamuffins, but as the years passed it became clear that they were born to live the life of musicians. Gone were the rough, tough, doughty exteriors. In their place rose sleek, refined instrumentalists. No Longer Bandits was born.
With big plans firmly set in their bandana-clad heads, No Longer Bandits aim to force their way onto the national music scene with intelligent instrumentation, blistering rhythm and soaring melodies. The stage has already been set at the Liquidisco National Battle of the Bands. The judges (including Pitchshifter’s Johnny A. Carter) placed them 2nd out of 375 bands, hailing them as a breath of fresh air in the rock genre.
The band continued to push themselves, winning numerous battles of the bands and even collaborating with string sections and gospel choirs, writing and performing with them for a selection of the band’s own songs.
Over the next year the band plan to go further still, by showcasing their music to as many people as they possibly can. Join them on their journey.
