Starting out writing obscure a cappella songs in his teens, it wasn't until the mid 2000's that Nik first started performing his original tunes with other musicians. A few years passed and with the full band 'Goodnight Thomas', the unique song style started to evolve. Festival appearances and a South-West American tour followed.

Wanting something a little grander in sound, Nik took a break from his band and performing through 2009/2010 to focus on writing and recording a solo long-player. This time working with classical elements and his own synthetic sounds, Nik soon found himself in the studios of Sydney and Melbourne with the talents of Tim Whitten (Powderfinger, Augie March, Gaslight Radio), Eugene Ball and Sam Keevers.

The result is a very lush cinematic sounding group of tunes.  The first single, 'We're Dying Alone' was released in January, with more little previews to come before the full length album release later in the year.
