Mi mye is a 5-piece band from Wakefield and Leeds in West Yorkshire, formed of Jamie and Rob, co-owners of Greenmount Studios (Alex Clare, New Model Army, Post War Glamour Girls) and musicians Emily, Chad and Morgan (Crake, Spills, Buen Chico).
Lyricist and fiddle player Jamie learnt to play in the Highlands of Scotland, and often leans on his roots of folk music and story telling to produce beautiful songs of empathy and hope.
The other band members each bring their own influences and musicianship to create intricate songs - at times life-affirming, at times downright heartbreaking - which envelop Jamie's lyrics.
Mi mye have been compared to Sparklehorse, the National and Will Oldham.
