Though pop melody and songwriting remains at the core of each song, electronic beats skitter over the top of tracks like 'Shake Hands, Say Hello' whilst the rhythm section pushes and drives below - "tracks that make you want to move and be moved" - in the words of We.Are.A.Fever. [url=http://www.last.fm/music/Björk]Björk[/url], post-millennial [url=http://www.last.fm/music/radiohead]Radiohead[/url], [url=http://www.last.fm/music/Talking+Heads]Talking Heads[/url], [url=http://www.last.fm/music/Grizzly+Bear]Grizzly Bear[/url] and [url=http://www.last.fm/music/Os+Mutantes]Os Mutantes[/url] are perhaps the most obvious points of comparison, but yet [url=http://www.last.fm/music/Look,+Stranger!]Look, Stranger![/url] remain very much a pop band at heart. 'Where Horses Roam' is based around a raucous, pulsing, unforgettable hook that "infiltrated my head for far too long" (London Tour Dates), whilst the rich harmony and soaring melody of 'To The River' and 'The Rectory' show a band reaching further than most others aim.
