Taking strong influence from Jamaican rhythms the band have then infused these grooves with a fresh dose of melody and solid songwriting.

With hundreds of gigs and numerous East Coast tours under their belt, Kingfisha have just returned from their first International tour playing The Parihaka Peace Festival in New Zealand.

Kingfisha were also recently hand picked by Triple J to showcase their talents at the recent Fuse Festival in Adelaide through the Triple J Unearthed program.

Currently in the studio working on a follow up to their most recent single “Enough”, Kingfisha have an album slated for release late 2010.
