Kapowski were a much loved indie rock 4 piece from Northampton with more belting tunes than you can shake a stick at. Comprising the vocal gymnastics of Nik Gray, the axemanship of Kev Clayton, the rumbling bass of Luke Farmer, whilst Paul Tucker brutalised several drum kits. They released their debut single 'Jean Michel-Jarre' backed by '1>100' on Label Fandango in 2006 and won 'Fresh Meat' on Zane Lowe and received great support from Steve Lamacq too in addition to fantastic single reviews in Artrocker and The Fly. To almost universal disappointment the band decided to call it a day shortly after this release and are still very much missed in the 'Rose of the Shires' (Northamptonshire to the uneducated). Nik Gray once renowned for his 'killer leapfrogs' now a New Cassette features on 'The All New Adventures Of Us' loving interpretation of this hometown favourite (often heard sung by drunken muso's in the garden of The Charles Bradlaugh or The Racehorse). Team TANAOU are very proud of their recording, started and finished on the same day at 'The Great British Pun' in The Big Noise Complex.
