Formed in Camden Town in mid-2009, Johnny & the Medicine Show fire up their dancey 'doo wop and roll' rumble with the itinerant soul of Jack Kerouac and a hefty dose of 50s hipster swagger.

Thundering out of North London, Johnny & the Medicine Show mix their tough yet heartbroken love songs with a subterranean beatnik spirit that's as thrilling and relevant in 2010 as it would've been in 1955.

Bringing a DIY spirit back to rock'n'roll music, Johnny & the Medicine Show recently sold 1000 copies of their self-recorded debut single 'Trouble Trouble' in just three weeks and launched the free, monthly 'Pepper Spray' clubnight at east London's trendy George Tavern pub.
