Forged in the tranquil countryside of England’s picturesque New Forest, Giles Halski has quickly established himself as a seriously exciting prospect. With a sound that spans and captures lyrical intellect and serpentine melodies, the New Forest based Singer songwriter deals in a catchy, eccentric, pop sound. A recent stint with in demand producer Geoff Swan, has resulted in the new stunning single, ‘Boys & Girls’, which will be released in April. From the delicate melody to the pop groove of ‘Boys & Girls’ it’s a mature and exhilarating ride.

Giles began playing guitar when he was 13 years old and has never thought about anything else since. In his youth he sang in choirs and quickly shined as the popular soloist with both his choristers and audience. When he left college at 18 he began song writing and received popular approval from friends and critics.

Employing an enviable work ethic, Giles has toured constantly since he started song writing in 2008. He has played in various venues all over the South, and recently has come back from playing numerous dates across Europe. He has returned home revitalised and with a vigouress passion, ready to take the UK by storm. He has also shown how savvy and knowledgeable of the Music Industry he is, by working with his manager and setting up label, Chase River Records, to release his material on. 

The Single ‘Boys & Girls’ is out 3rd April, and will be available on Digital Download only from all good online stores, released by Chase River Records ℗ 2010. The single is the latest is Giles’ arsenal and will propel him into the media spotlight as ‘the next big thing.’ The Single also features the B-side ‘Holiday’ this track is a bit more chilled out then ‘Boys & Girls’ and has a Jack Johnson, beach feel about it.
