Die Monde began as the soundtrack to four boys’ high school years in Sydney, as they covered decades worth of British pop and rock music, flexing their musical muscles on anything from Oasis to the Eurythmics.

Graduation year uncovered their rose amongst the thorns in synth player Simone, who completed the 5-piece outfit [joining Dan on vocals, Luke on guitar, Viv on bass, and Jake on drums] and gave birth to Die Monde – the multilingual tongue twister that reads Diamond, The Moons, or Die World [depending what day it is!].

Taking 80’s and 90’s power pop references mingled with a strong punk rock structure, Die Monde thrill with their own trademark high energy disco-inspired indie power pop.
