Hi I'm a largely self-trained musician/songwriter/producer from Bristol England. I have released three albums Kathy's Eyes (95/96) and Lost In The Wilderness (2001)and The Handkerchief Lady through my own label Blue Balloon Records. I regularly perform in the Bristol, Bath and Somerset areas though I have also done a number of gigs in Londonand Nick Kane of the Mavericks at one gig at the 12 Bar Club in 1998 and have played at the Mean Fiddler and Hope and Anchor. I was booked for the Glastonbury Festival (94 & 95), the Bristol Ashton Court Festival (95 & 98) and the Radio 1 Sound City Festival Bristol in (95). I have given live radio interviews on RTL Country (London), CMR (London), Radio Bristol, Yorkshire Gold Radio and Meridian Radio. I 1998 I was awarded a top 10% achievement award in the 1998 Unisong song contest and featured in Mojo magazines Local Heroes section. In 2001 my music and life story was chosen by the Fullard Group to feature in their European Computer Driving License CD-ROM and I made a video of Lost In The Wilderness as part of that deal. I am a member of the UK PRS/MCPS, PAMRA, and PPL organisations (for Blue Balloon Records). The song Distant Train had 52 confirmed radio plays on the Poetman CD sampler disc in 2002-3. In 2004 I got involved with the Roots Music Organisation in London and I played a number of gigs in London including two showcases at the 12 Bar Club. In the same year I also joined a blues band called the Blue Mangoes that play regularly in the Bristol area.
