‘There is something mesmerising about watching Danni perform. She is an inspirational person with a great ear for a melody.' (Damian Keyes - The Who, Eric Clapton, Jools Holland)

Danni spent her childhood in Bedfordshire. Part of a large and talented family of musicians, designers and artists, she was surrounded by creativity and it wasn't long before she discovered her own creative outlet.

In the early learning years, Danni's influences included Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. She tampered with a few instruments but it wasn't until she inherited a '1962 Burns shortscale jazz' (once owned by Billy Fury!) from an uncle, that Danni discovered the guitar and a voice to go with it.

She took her two keyboards to a Cash Converters in Bedford, swapped them for her first acoustic guitar and locked herself away stumbling over new chords and writing original songs. Two years later she emerged from her bedroom and went in to the studio. There she met local producer Matt Roberts and went on to record two albums worth of songs which explored new ways of looking at old themes such as heart break, longing and loss.

Of her musical style she comments ‘it's pretty hard to sum my music up in one or two words because its such a mixture of all my influences which include Johnny Cash, Suzanne Vega, Gemma Hayes and KT Tunstall. I guess to narrow it down you could call it 'rootsinfused pop'.

She is currently producing new material and gigging at venues in Brighton and London.
