After forming at Edinburgh art school in spring 2007, Come On Gang! immediately started writing the type of music they wanted to hear on a night out; infectious melodies, tight punk guitars and words that bear another listen.
After playing a sold out slot during the prestigious T on the Fringe music festival for their 2nd gig, Come On Gang! quickly picked up a strong Edinburgh following by winning over every person in the room at every venue round the city.
Having played with a huge range of bands from Islands and Glasvegas, to The Pistolas and Angus & Julia Stone, the band just released their debut single Wheels on July 7th 2008 through Euphonios Records. Come On Gang! They were then chosen from over 1,000 bands to play to a packed stage at this year's T in The Park festival, and have caught the attention of every promoter they've worked with, promising the rest of 2008 to be a hectic schedule of writing, playing and recording. Their 2nd single is due to be released in December 2008 through Straight to Video Records.
Now that a buzz is building around Come On Gang!, the band have been all over the national press, secured a management deal and Radio One have played their songs many times; with Vic Galloway voting them his Unsigned Heroes. At only a year old, the band are working hard to book gigs for the rest of the year, and have already confirmed return visits to London, Brighton and Dublin in the near future.
