Cafe Medula from Melbourne, Australia go as far back as 2004. Xavier Appiotti and Matt Pate (Ex-Aggomorah) began jamming together on this project, which they named Café Medula. After playing with many styles, band members and songs over many years, in 2006 they decided it was time to do things properly.

In early 2006, Bass player and music business student Amy Campbell took up the ranks of bass player in the band. At this point Café Medula had at least half a set of songs and were constantly writing new and different music.

Not long after Amy’s arrival on board, several Vocalists were auditioned, all of which, after auditions and trials, turned out to be duds. So, we took a break from trying to find vocals and hit hard on trying to find a keyboardst

In mid 2006, Café Medula came across Gus, a like minded musician with similar creative flairs to the rest of the band. The union between Gus and Café Medula seemed almost inevitable, with Gus taking on the full time position of keyboards.

Cafe Medula now welcome their ranks PERRY as full time vocalist. Perry brings with him an element of energy and force that could be matched by no-one better. you will be guarenteed to dance, laugh and be blown away by his magnetism and strength of character, not to mention is amazing vocal skills and lyrics writing!
