Boydidgood are a four piece rock band from Reading, UK who do not use synthesizers.
Since forming in March 2007, they have released two EPs and played many gigs.
People say they sound like Queens of the Stone Age, Biffy Clyro and Arctic Monkeys.
In 2007, they played the NEC Arena in Birmingham.
In 2008, they headlined 3 festivals, were interviewed on some radio programs, enjoyed local and national radio play and some general ‘rocking’ was evident.
The band will be recording again in early 2009.
There are rumours of a tour of Europe in late 2009.
The band has been confirmed for some more festivals in 2009.
For too long, synth pop, crap metal, dubious emo and general musical failure has held the airwaves. Rock needs to come back.
Gats out, safety off. 2009 is the year.
''We heard they destroyed the Turtle the other week! Could be the new boys on the block by tea time...'' - Velocity Records
''Tight and accomplished musicanship delivered loud and inches away from your ears.'' - Reading Fringe Festival
''We've always headlined the festival with pro bands, so it's a massive vote of confidence from us to give the top slot to Reading's Boydidgood. Although they've only been together two years, they've already attracted considerable attention and we won't be remotely surprised when they get snapped up by a major label. This may be your last chance to see them up close.'' - Silchester Music Festival
