Blisted Pearl are a power trio rock band from Colchester, Essex that provide big tunes that you won't believe are being blasted out by only 3 people. After being in various local acts across Essex and Hertfordshire, Blisted Pearl came together in November 2009 and quickly set about writing songs. The band quickly came up with a wide set which still had a common themes and sound throughout. In 2010 after only being a band for around 3 - 4 months the band played two gigs in their hometown of Colchester before knuckling down and hitting the recording studio. Over Easter the band recorded their first 4 track EP at Stagg Studios in Whitam, Essex.

Spending the rest of the year playing shows on the back of the EP (including supporting Eliza Doolittle and playing the o2 Islington Academy 2) we are planning a big 2011, with a new record currently being written and lots of big plans to get out there and play bigger and better shows!
