Bity Booker is a singer, songwriter. She was born in Carrara, Italy on the 23/02/1988. She grew up in Umbria in the countryside in a big house with horses,dogs and cats. Nurtured by artistic parents with a passion for music, her father is a sculptor and her mother an art teacher. While Bity was a small child, her family noticed her natural musical ability, and encouraged her interest in music. She was interested in singing and music from an early age. During secondary school, at the age of 12, she played the title role of a musical, she started to sing in choirs and study music and singing. Bity has always been obsessed with collecting and listening to all kind of music CD and cassettes. During high school she developed an interest for heavy metal music, she started to sing in heavy metal bands at the age of 14. On graduating from Art Institute in Perugia in 2007, she attended Università degli Studi di Perugia (2008-2010) major in Anthropology, and started to study guitar. Convinced that her break in music would come from singing in screaming and growl, Bity played in many metal bands in central Italy, known under the nickname of 'bitygore' (Devouring Hatred,Human Cluster,Putrefied Beauty and many other projects), but keeping on listening to all kinds of music. In 2009 after a bad musical experience she decided to quit screaming/growling and sing with her clean, bright and unusual voice again. She started to develop her unique style of songwriting with her classical guitar, she decided to do things her way writing many songs. In 2010 after graduating she moved to Australia where she's playing live and studying music.
