"Watching Bec Sandridge perform is almost like being privy to a secret." Fearful of singing publicly eight months ago, bets were placed amongst family members in attempt to coax twenty-year old singer songwriter Bec Sandridge out of her shell (or rather small, sea-town bathroom in Stanwell Park, Australia). Such bets truly paid off mid 2011. Moving from guitarist in band Mad Polly (Melissa Creagan), sharing the stage with such international artists including PASSENGER (UK), Stu Larsen (AU), Andy Bull (AU), Matthew Barber (Canada), Skipping Girl Vinegar (AU), Custom Kings, Yellow Fever (TEX). Owl Eyes (AU), and Adalita (Magic Dirt), at world class venues including Ronnie Scotts (UK), Apollo (Scotland), Proud Camden (UK), The Regal Room (UK), The Bay Horse (UK), St Pancras Old Church, The Slaughtered Lamb, Otis Bar (AU), Brass Monkey (AU), The Wesley Anne (AU), The Basement (AU) and Lizottes (AU), Bec Sandridge is truly making a name for herself. Her debut EP 'What was Left' was launched online via iTunes reaching #57 on
the Australian Singer-songwriter Charts, #8 Triple J Unearthed Indie Charts, whilst being featured in YENmag's online edition of 'upcoming musicians for 2011'- such quick successes led to deferring university and touring internationally throughout the UK for 2 months. Bec is now working on a second EP, set to be released in Australia, US, and her now second home, the UK, early 2012.

''Bec's music is nothing more than a genuine, fresh and delicate simplicity, what everyone think is easy to be reached and only a few, after all, can really catch. Red Jumper and Worst Ghost are what we'll call memories. Songs that settle down... An emotional path between traveling and whispering' -Btzk Festival Review (London '11).
