Awake The Empire

Formerly known as KIT FISTO,
Awake The Empire were formed in 2006 by ex members of Decline & End It On This.

Within a very short period of time, KF's debut cd, 'spread the word', which was self recorded, self produced & self released, became popular to the human ear and made a 100% sell out for the band.

With sold out home town shows under their belt and an ever-growing fan base, the band recruited close friend & ex-To Die In Fall frontman, Bruno as co-lead guitarist & vocalist tohelp give the band that extra punch they felt they needed.

After having support slots for bands including Elliot Minor, Brigade and My Awesome Compilation, aswell as summer festivals, a live lounge set & interview on 209radio and a successful set at the famous Cambridge Junction, the band took some time out to make a start on a new record and along the way, were forced to make a name change due to legal reasons.

2009 is sure to be a big year for AWAKE THE EMPIRE! A new sound, a new image & of course a new record along with fresh merchandise is amongst some of the targets & goals set for one of Cambridge's fast up-coming bands!


Its pretty much Rock with a Saxophone, you decide the Genre!
