Apocalypse Dudes was founded in 2005. Jonas Falck Evensen, the bassist, got the idea.
Dudes' current members are: Nicolai Westad Codling (vocal) (18), Jonas Falck Evensen (base) (17), Ole Petter Christensen (lead guitar) (17), Per J. Mahtiassen (rythm guitar) (17) an Olav Rømcke (drums) (16).
In Fall 2006 Apocalypse Dudes won "Global Battle of the Bands" in Drammen, Norway.
Already in 2006 Dudes played together with Turbonegro at Union Stage in Drammen.
Apocalypse Dudes have figured in about 35 stories in newspapers in Norway, and they have made their own EP.
Are soon finishing a new EP, and will make their own album in 2009.
In 2007 they were guests at Symphoniums (FM 105,5) radioshow in 20 minutes and they played four of their songs.
In the review of their demo-EP at Symphonium's homepage they wrote:
"Hope for rock in Drammen".
They figured in the national radiostation NRK P1 the same year, before the job with Turbonegro.
They have figured in about 50 rock-events in Drammen, Oslo, Bærum, Hurum and Asker.
In July 2007 they got Drammen communitys culturscholarship (10.000 NKr.).
In October 2007 they were booked by Turbonegro to play at Turbos party at Last Train in Oslo. Only one group played: Apocalypse Dudes.
In august 2008 Dudes played for 3000 rockfans outdoors under The River Festival in Drammen, Norway.
Among the members of their fanclub is: Thomas Seltzer ("Happy-Tom" in Turbonegro), Vegard Thomas Olsen ("Shortcut") and the songwriter Lars Kilevold.
A review in the newspaper Drammens Tidende told the readers in 2008, after a concert at Buddy in Drammen: "The most promising rockband i Norway".
