anthony.love is a 20yr old singer-songwriter from London. He hates being called a singer-songwriter, but can't think of a better way of saying it. He sings the songs that he's written with the help of an acoustic bass guitar, not a standard acoustic. In most people's opinion this is what makes him unique.

Anthony started out as a bassist in the usual catalogue of teenage bands in Essex before he got sick of waiting around at rehearsals and decided to go it alone. In summer 2007, aged just 17, he booked and played a loose 22-date tour of venues all over the UK. These included gigs in living rooms and back-gardens in places as far apart as Newcastle and Kent.

This DIY ethic has continued to be anthony.love's approach to performing live. In all he has played over 150 shows, including performances in Ireland, Germany, Austria and Russia. Highlights include playing to 50 people in a living room in Northern Berlin, a folk festival in Vienna and playing to a 90yr old man and a 4-month old baby in a living room in Penzance. anthony.love has also performed at "normal" venues such as Brighton's Pressure Point, Norwich Arts Centre and The Dublin Castle and he has headlined at London's legendary Hope and Anchor.

Anthony has self-released 3 EPs and sold-out two of those. His name has been in the pages of The Fly, London Lite and NME. Herts and Essex Music-Zine called him "a champion of acoustic melodrama" while Bugbear bookings described him as "Kate Nash with a d**k". He thinks he sounds like Boyzone.
