An Escape Plan is the brainchild of Craig Brown former Maps collaborator and Medium 21 guitarist / keyboard merchant. Craig has been around the Northampton music scene since the tail end of Brit Pop. Known to most by the monicker Arge his special move is slinging his axe on and guesting (stage hogging) during headline bands encores as Death Cab For Cutie, Brendan Benson, The Cooper Temple Clause and Cursive know to their cost. Thus far Craig hasn't taken this project beyond the studio or rehearsal room where his band has featured the percussive talents of Ben 'Shakedown' Brown (Maps) and the multi instrumental stylings of Katie Anne Malcolmson (The Alice Room) as well as TANAOU's own Jaime and Kate. His composition 'Lie 'neath The Woodchip' is one of the most beautiful gems you'll ever unearth. Jaime recorded his version in a day with Craig's former bandmate Jon Clough (Medium 21, The Liarslake & Pictures Of Leonard) in an Attic Studio within site of Northampton's famous landmark The Express Lift Tower.
