Alexy is an Canadian singer/songwriter based in Ottawa, Ontario. Alexy released his debut EP ''Fragments of Fiction on August 23rd 2010. Alexy's first solo effort presented the listener with introspective lyricism, groovy hooks, and soulful melodies to create a unique blend of alternative indie rock. Alexy has also acquired the support of hit writer Ralph Murphy, as well as producer Ben Pelchat, with whom is he now working to produce his full length album ''Paper Moon'', to be released later this year.

        What sets Alexy apart, is his independence as an artist. Alexy wrote and produced everything on his debut EP, ranging from drums, bass and piano to cello, guitar and vocals. At only 19, Alexy is in the midst of juggling his full-time music studies, producing another upcoming local artist, promoting his music videos, coordinating his live band, as well as finding time to prepare for his full length due to be recorded in May.
