Alexis Blue formed in September 2005 from the ashes of former Wirral band 'The Rails', on the calmer side of the Mersey. Constant gigs locally and nationally have increased not only their large dedicated fan base, but also their hunger and desire to progress further - Their new, fresh, unique Indie-Pop sound which blends catchy melody with dark, comedic and ironic lyrics, catching many an interested ear country & worldwide.

2007 saw the band start with a new bassist, their debut single 'You Wont Get Much Sleep' sold out within weeks (both in the UK and Japan) and was backed up by a music video which broadcast on MTV2 and Liverpool city centre big screen. The single was also named 'Record Of The Week'; on various UK radio stations. In November the band played their largest hometown headline show to date when they sold out the 500 capacity Liverpool Barfly.
2008 has already had the band kick off the year by performing an acoustic set and interview on BBC Radio and undertake a UK wide tour in February. From March, the video to single YWGMS has been showing both on MTV2 and Virgin Media. With further tours and huge plans for the rest of the year, things are looking bright for Alexis Blue.
