Having only been together for just under a year, Aerials Up have already chalked up an impressive resume.   The band are outstanding on record, with producer Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Super Furry Animals, Wintersleep etc) at the helm and New York’s Greg Calibri (David Bowie), charged with mastering duties, it’s hardly surprising.

The real magic however happens onstage. Everyone that witnesses Aerials Up’s powerful live performance is blown away and wants to help them succeed. This includes, Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody who after watching them perform, immediately invited them to support Snow Patrol on a few arena dates, and Paolo Nutini who came to check out all the fuss and invited them to open for him at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Their music is packed with various folk and rock influences. Their songs combine glorious intertwining violin / guitar parts as well as mammoth choir like, multipart vocal harmonies, a solid rhythm section and lush orchestral string arrangements.

Forthcoming single and live favourite ‘Stay Awake’, available for free from Music Glue, is a shining example of what Aerials Up can create, sometimes serene and uplifting yet simultaneously it’s a sing-along anthem complete with there own full bodied orchestral, folk/rock, wall of sound; sheer brilliance.
